On November 8 NS/21 OS, we celebrate the Synaxis of St. Michael and the Other Bodiless Powers, also known as the feast of the Archangels. On this day we remember the Bodiless Powers, Archangels Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Selaphiel, Jehudiel, Barachiel, and Jeremiel; St. Michael is the Chief Commander of the angels, as he was the one appointed to expel Lucifer from Heaven.
