Theophany

On January 6 NS/19 OS, we celebrate the Lord’s baptism in the Jordan with the feast of Theophany or Epiphany. The Festal Liturgy includes the Great Blessing of the Waters, and the faithful come prepared with vessels to carry home holy water for our icon corners.
